Connection
You are very much welcome to join our community, our sangha. We sense that community is something that people are missing, even craving, whether they know it or not.
In these modern times, people are more connected through technology than ever before. Paradoxically, many are feeling more isolated than ever before. There is no doubt that technology is a valuable tool that has done much to improve communication. Yet there is no substitute for the direct, heart to heart experience.
This is where community enters the picture. Connecting to like minded souls, celebrating life, honoring nature, enjoying music, all while improving ourselves immensely, these are just a few of the reasons we gather. Our community intends to help you deal with the extreme forces of society that are leading to sickness and insanity. The end result that we wish for you is inspiration, clarity, creativity, rejuvenation, and vitality.

Group Calls
These are the three stages of ceremony, also known more simply as before, during and after.
The preparation phase is the weeks and months leading up to the workshop. In addition to receiving guidance from us, you will also have access to group calls for support.
The navigation phase is when you arrive at the venue and for the first time meet in person all the other participants who will be sharing this profound experience with you.
The integration phase is the weeks and months following the workshop. This is an important time to embody the insights received. Once again, in addition to receiving guidance from us, you will also have access to group calls for support.

Prepare, Navigate, Integrate
“The net is unbreakable, so don’t worry about falling”

Eric is the founder and facilitator for Lumiar. He has immersed himself in the field of sacred plant medicine since 2015. During this time he has spent years visiting places such as Brazil and Peru in order to learn how best to work with our sacrament. The core of his initiation included his role as caretaker for a wild and isolated retreat center in the Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil for three consecutive winters. He has experience serving in Washington state since 2019, with the assistance of his trusted female co-facilitator.
Eric became fascinated with the potential for sacred plant medicine to accelerate personal transformation, which he see as an essential step for improving society. His personal vision is to live in alignment with the teachings of the sacrament. His higher vision is to inspire Lumiar participants to live in alignment with the preservation and restoration of our home, Mother Earth. Eric is very grateful for the lineage that came before him, the tradition we practice that is the foundation of our work, and especially for the opportunity to learn from his Brazilian mentor Norberto.
